Imec, UGent, Brigade de Sapeurs-Pompiers de Paris, Sioen and our TiaS(R) team have developed a suit with integrated sensors that must drastically reduce the number of burn wounds among firefighters.

The aim of the project is to prevent second-degree burns from firemen in action. Firefighters have already successfully tested the clothing at high temperatures. It is expected that the knowledge acquired can also be used more broadly, for example for similar applications in production environments.
