Infrastructure Engineer Mid

You’ll work with virtualization, networking, storage, and hybrid cloud technologies while supporting critical operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Infrastructure Deployment & Administration

• Deploy, configure, and maintain server, network, and virtualization infrastructure.
• Manage VMware environments, storage systems, and backup solutions.
• Support hybrid cloud integrations and on-prem infrastructure operations.

Incident Resolution & Problem Management

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents within SLA.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Restore critical services quickly during major incidents.

Monitoring & Performance Optimization

• Monitor infrastructure health and performance using enterprise tools.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to enhance system reliability.
• Ensure high availability of critical systems (target: ≥ 99.9%).

Security & Compliance

• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with corporate standards.
• Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities and enforce policies.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Work closely with network, application, and support teams on IT projects.
• Participate in planning and executing infrastructure changes with zero unplanned downtime.
• Provide technical guidance and share knowledge across the IT team.

Education & Experience

• Degree in IT or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration.

Core Skills

• Strong knowledge of:
  • VMware vSphere and virtualization technologies
  • Storage systems (SAN/NAS)
  • Backup & recovery tools (e.g., Veeam)
  • Networking fundamentals (switching, routing, firewalls)
  • Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
  • Infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting
• Ability to work in high-availability environments and make sound technical decisions.

Nice to Have

• Certifications such as VMware VCP, Veeam VMCE, Fortinet NSE, Aruba Switching.
• Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud platforms (Azure, M365).
• Knowledge of security frameworks, DR, and business continuity.
