Paris, September 2025 – Connect Group was proud to take part in one of Europe’s most important gatherings for the electronics manufacturing industry: the EMS Presidents’ Dinner and IPC Day EMS Europe.

Held on the River Seine and at the Musée de la Marine in Paris, the two-day program brought together more than 90 senior executives from across the European EMS and PCB sectors for strategic discussions, networking, and shared vision-building.

Representing Connect Group, CEO Jeroen Tuik joined fellow industry leaders to exchange insights on the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of electronics in Europe.

With over 60% of attendees being C-level executives—CEOs, CTOs, and business owners—the event highlighted the strength and influence of the EMS ecosystem across the continent.

A Clear Message: Collaboration Drives the Future

Throughout both events, one theme echoed consistently: collaboration is essential for Europe’s electronics industry to thrive in the face of global uncertainty.

Leaders emphasized unity and joint action in three critical areas:

  • Resilience – Reinforcing supply chains to withstand volatility and safeguard Europe’s strategic independence.
  • Innovation – Accelerating advanced technologies and packaging solutions to maintain Europe’s edge in electronics.
  • Talent & Legacy – Attracting, developing, and empowering the next generation of leaders who will carry the industry forward.

Setting the Scene: Building Bridges Across the Seine

The prestigious EMS Presidents’ Dinner, hosted aboard the Onyx cruise ship by the Global Electronics Association in partnership with in4ma and IFTEC, created the perfect backdrop for strengthening relationships.

The following day, IPC Day EMS Europe at the Astrolab in the Musée de la Marine offered deeper technical exchanges, expert panels, and high-level strategy discussions. Topics ranged from supply chain consolidation to workforce development, sustainability, and global standardization.

As Philippe Leonard, Director of the Global Electronics Association in Europe, stated in his opening remarks: “Strengthening connections is the key to driving innovation, resilience, and growth for Europe’s EMS sector.”
