Are you passionate about quality, detail-driven, and eager to be the voice of the customer inside a manufacturing organization? Connect Group is looking for a proactive and experienced Automotive Customer Quality Engineer to strengthen our Quality team and act as a key liaison between our production operations and customers.

 

About the Role

As an Automotive Customer Quality Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining and improving product and process quality. You will be the primary contact for customer quality matters, leading complaint resolution, driving preventive and corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with automotive quality standards, focusing on IATF 16949.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main quality interface between Connect Group and assigned customers

• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards

• Prepare PPAP files and help perform MSA and SPC studies

• Manage and analyze customer complaints, prepare 8D reports, and coordinate resolution

• Monitor and improve internal processes and quality metrics

• Lead cross-functional teams in quality improvement initiatives

• Drive quality awareness throughout the organization

• Prepare and present monthly quality reports to customers

• Support activities affecting product and process quality

• Participate and sometimes lead customer, second and third party audits.

 

What You Bring

  • Technical University Degree (preferably in Electronics, Electromechanics, or Engineering).
  • Proven experience with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management systems.
  • Solid understanding of EMS and automotive production (a strong plus).
  • Strong analytical skills and structured problem-solving approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and statistical tools: MSA (Measurement System Analysis) and SPC (Statistical Process Control).
  • Use of Quality Tools: FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, Dimensional Results, Material and Performance Test Results, Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR).
  • Fluent in English – both written and spoken.
