As a Business Development Manager, you are responsible for maintaining and expanding our network with a focus on industrial customers in Belgium. You will work as an independent Business Development Manager and build a relationship of trust with existing and new customers, focused on the long term.
Tasks and responsibilities
After an intensive internal training you are responsible for the expansion of our market share with focus on Industrial customers with a purchase department in Belgium. You build up a relationship of trust with existing and new customers both nationally and internationally. For this, you travel abroad on a regular basis within the EU.
From a partnership you analyse the customers' needs and look for application possibilities for their products, using your (technical) expertise in the field of development. To this end, you work with technical experts on the production process in a solution-focused way and, in this way, you represent strong added value for your customer.
We are looking for a driven commercial person with a broad technical interest. The ideal candidate preferably has successful technical sales experience in a B-to-B environment.
Furthermore, you have strong analytical skills and are a good negotiator; you have good contact skills and think in terms of problem solving. You are an independent, stress-resistant and result-oriented professional who knows how to set priorities. A sound knowledge of the English and French languages, both oral and written, is a must.
