Equipment Technician

As an Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, setup, maintenance, calibration, and repair of production equipment used in electronic manufacturing. You will provide technical support to production teams, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure manufacturing equipment operates efficiently and reliably in compliance with production, quality, and safety requirements.

• Debug and optimize machine programs. 
• Set up production equipment parameters and perform regular parameter verification. 
• Install and commission manufacturing equipment. 
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of production equipment according to the maintenance plan. 
• Troubleshoot and repair machines and production equipment. 
• Provide training to operators on the proper use of manufacturing equipment. 
• Deliver technical support to production departments. 
• Follow production plans, technological procedures, quality requirements, and supervisor instructions. 
• Maintain required technical and maintenance records. 
• Manufacture and modify production fixtures, tooling, and equipment installations. 
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment performance and reliability.

Education: 

• Vocational or secondary technical education (electrical engineering background is an advantage). 
• Electrical certification in accordance with Czech legislation (Government Regulation No. 194/2022 Coll.) is an advantage.

Experience: 

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar position within a manufacturing environment is an advantage. 
• Experience with machine programming and equipment setup is an advantage. 
• Experience in machine maintenance and repair.

Skills:

• Basic knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel). 
• Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to read and follow technical documentation and procedures. 
• Ability to work independently and responsibly. 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. 
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Languages: 

• Local language – Proficient Czech
• English – Basic (advantage)
