SMT Technician

As an SMT Technician, you will prepare and improve programs for SMT equipment, set up machines, and support production. You will maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair equipment so that production runs safely, smoothly, and according to quality requirements.

• Prepare programs for programmable SMT equipment and fine-tune them on the first production pieces.
• Set up parameters for production and SMT equipment and check them regularly.
• Install and start up production equipment.
• Perform regular maintenance and calibration according to the maintenance plan.
• Find faults, repair machines, and solve technical problems.
• Provide technical support to production teams and operators.
• Train operators to use production and SMT equipment correctly.
• Make and modify production and SMT fixtures and installations.
• Keep the required technical and production records.
• Follow the production plan, work procedures, regulations, and supervisor instructions.

Education and Experience:

• Vocational or secondary technical education, preferably in electrical engineering or another technical field.
• Electrical qualification under Czech Government Regulation No. 194/2022 Coll., Section 6 (formerly Regulation No. 50/1978 Coll.).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment or with SMT technology is an advantage.
• Technical knowledge and ability to work with production equipment.
• Ability to program, set up, maintain, and repair machines.
• Ability to find and solve technical problems independently.

Skills and Personal Qualities:

• Basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Independent and responsible approach to work.
• Good manual and technical skills.
• Careful and accurate work.
• Ability to cooperate and communicate well with colleagues.

Languages:

• Czech - proficient.
• English - basic knowledge is an advantage.
