  • Are you a seasoned deeply technical electronics project manager?
  • Are you ready for a challenge that combines technical and interpersonal skills?

Two times yes?

About the role

This role has a lot of variation, and you are included in many parts of the lifecycle of a product.

Start of the process: You will be leading the technical discussion with stakeholders internally and externally on how to set up testing for their product that we are producing, next to a sales colleague. This means understanding deeply the electronics of the client product plan and requirements. You’re having a thorough knowledge of our equipment and software & possibilities and a profound knowledge of the landscape of equipment and technologies that we might need to invest in to succeed. All of this will need to be packaged with excellent communication skills in order to facilitate this discussion.

During production: You will be responsible for guiding our test engineers in understanding how to test and answer technical questions from the production site. This means you must understand functional testing very well. Added value would be to have knowledge of flying probe testing, in circuit testing and burning/stress test.

On top of this lifecycle, it’s your responsibility to understand the market and new technologies that we might need to invest in as a company to stay on the top notch of testing. This includes also the supplier contacts and the selection of the new equipment and/or software. Afterwards, you also supervise the correct set up and implementation of these.

This role will require an ample amount of traveling, for sure in the first years where you will need to learn to understand our sites & equipment. Travel would be estimated around 2x per month for 2-3 days max.

Software knowledge of NI Teststand is a must, and any of the following are a big bonus: Testway (test coverage reports), WATS (test data management), Siemens Valor (CAM software), Power BI. Hardware knowledge of integrated communication protocols like CAN, SPI and I²C would be good.

For this role a good knowledge of English is a hard requirement, any additional language is a bonus.

Given the complexity of the role, a higher education in electronics is essential, combined with an ample amount of experience.
