About the Role

As a Project Engineer, you will guide projects from initial request to series production, ensuring technical feasibility, manufacturability, cost accuracy, quality compliance, and timely implementation. The role acts as a key link between clients, engineering, production, purchasing, and quality, managing project validation and coordinating engineering changes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Project Engineer, you will support the engineering and project management teams in coordinating customer requirements, costs, and implementation from RFQ to series production. Your responsibilities will include:


- Project Documentation: Preparing and checking the necessary project files, technical documentation, and quotation materials for assigned projects; ensuring proper version control.
- Cost Calculation: Assisting in the preparation and review of cost calculations and quotations for new and existing projects, in collaboration with Product Engineers and Purchasing.
- Technical Analysis: Critically reviewing technical specifications, drawings, and data; ensuring requirements are complete and validated before progressing.
- Production Support: Providing daily follow-up for project dossiers; supporting the launch of new products in production and monitoring timelines and quality targets.
- Prototyping & Collaboration: Coordinating seamlessly with engineering, ACAD, production, quality, and purchasing teams from early phases to ensure manufacturability and alignment.
- Troubleshooting: Assisting in identifying issues impacting scope, timing, or cost; supporting efficient, effective corrective actions.
- Change Management: Learning to coordinate engineering changes (ECNs) within the project flow, ensuring clear communication and accurate documentation.
- Technical Expertise: Developing a strong understanding of customer requirements, materials, cost drivers, and project workflows across the product lifecycle.

- Education: You hold a degree (Master’s degree preferred) in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
- English Proficiency: A high level of written and spoken English is essential, as it forms the basis of our communication, documentation, and customer interactions.
- Organizational Skills: You are precise, methodical, and possess excellent administration, planning, and follow-up skills.
- Soft Skills: You are a self-starter who can take initiative. You have the drive to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
- Mindset: You enjoy working in a project-driven environment where “Right First Time” execution, clear communication, and on-time delivery are fundamental.
- Technical Literacy: Broad knowledge of MS Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint). Understanding of drawings/specifications; CAD (AutoCAD/SolidWorks) and ERP exposure are considered assets.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar function or domain is a benefit, but not a necessity for the right candidate.
