About the Role

Are you passionate about driving efficiency, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement? We’re looking for an Operational Excellence Coordinator to lead and support Lean initiatives across our plant. In this role, you will analyze processes, coordinate improvement projects, train teams on Lean methodologies, and help shape a high‑performance manufacturing environment.
This is the ideal role for someone who enjoys influencing change, collaborating with all departments, and delivering measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

Lean Projects & Process Optimization

  • Lead and execute improvement manufacturing projects to improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop strategies for workplace organization, constraint management, and optimized production flows.
  • Perform internal analyses to identify waste, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.

Team Coordination & Employee Engagement

  • Establish, coordinate, and support teams across the organization.
  • Train and mentor employees on Lean tools and best practices (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, etc.).
  • Conduct regular progress reviews and follow-up meetings to ensure sustainability of improvements.

Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement

  • Track action plans and measure the impact of improvement projects.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses and support resource optimization.
  • Analyze program performance and propose corrective actions when necessary.

Quality & Cross-Functional Support

  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to ensure alignment with operational goals.
  • Support investigations of customer quality complaints, ensuring corrective actions follow Lean principles.
  • Ensure timely supply of produced and purchased materials to sustain optimized processes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience
    • Experience in Lean manufacturing, process improvement, or similar roles in a production environment.
  • Technical Skills
    • Solid understanding of Lean concepts: 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, One‑Piece Flow, etc.
    • Strong knowledge of constraint management and process optimization.
    • Ability to perform cost-benefit analysis and resource planning.
    • Understanding of quality standards and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Soft Skills
    • Strong leadership and problem‑solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and training abilities.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence change at all levels.
    • Detail‑oriented, proactive, and results‑driven mindset.
  • Languages
    • Local language – Proficient
    • English – Proficient
    • Any additional language is an asset
