Logistics Buyer

Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about procurement in a dynamic international environment? Connect Group is looking for an experienced Logistics Buyer to join our team and ensure smooth and efficient purchasing operations.

As a Logistics Buyer, you will play a key role in managing supplier relationships and ensuring timely procurement of components. You will handle purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and support internal teams with accurate and timely information. This position offers a great opportunity to work in an international environment and contribute to the success of a growing company.

• Purchase a variety of components from your assigned portfolio of suppliers 
• Prepare and process purchase orders and other relevant documents
• Correspond with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding the status of open orders 
• Follow up on orders and resolve any related issues 
• Prepare reports and perform spend analysis
• Support Sales and Technical departments with quotations for tenders
• Handle and monitor claims to factories and vendors

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business or a related field
• Previous experience in a Buyer or Purchasing role, preferably in logistics or supply chain (is a plus)
• Strong Excel skills (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables)
• Good knowledge of SAP (is a plus)
• Logical, analytical thinking and communication skills
• Fluent in English – both written and spoken
• Ability to manage multiple orders, follow up with suppliers and resolve issues
