ACAD Engineer

Are you detail-oriented, passionate about design, and eager to bring innovative engineering solutions to life? Connect Group is looking for a creative and motivated CAD Engineer to join our Engineering team and play a key role in designing cable harnesses, wiring diagrams, and related components for cutting-edge projects.

As a CAD Engineer, you will support engineering and production activities by creating and maintaining accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings for cable harnesses, wiring systems, and related components. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure designs are feasible, compliant, and ready for production.

• Create and update 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings for cable harnesses, wiring diagrams, and related components
• Collaborate with Product and Project Engineers to support design and production requirements
• Prepare and release technical documentation for production and keep it up to date after first production
• Implement design changes and revisions based on feedback from engineering, production, or clients
• Ensure designs meet technical, safety, and quality standards
• Support production by optimizing designs for manufacturability
• Maintain CAD documentation and drawing libraries according to company standards

Participate in design reviews and project meetings

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in a technical or CAD-related role is an advantage
• Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar) for 2D and 3D modeling
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, especially wiring and cable assemblies
• Ability to work with technical documentation and wiring diagrams
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• English – intermediate level or higher
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
